Track Feature: Contemporary Ambient Instrumental-Extasis-Allan Susoeff, Jr. - One and Only

Extasis - Allan Susoeff, Jr. decided to take his music in another direction on the “One and Only” track release. Moving away from his meditation releases into the world of Contemporary Ambient Instrumental. However, I would consider it a valued tool for relaxation or meditation.

The music is inspired by some memorable moments in time shared with another in a beautiful setting. It’s about believing in yourself and knowing you deserve to enjoy these moments and the memories you’ll hold on to.

The instruments utilized for this contemporary instrumental are: Piano, Synths & Pads, Violin, Viola, Cello, Contrabass, Piccolo, Flute, Oboe, English Horn, Clarinet, Trumpet, Crotales, Cymbals.

The keyboards are the main instrument, and all the color and drama those keys create is fully realized on the track. The layers of piano and synth form the foundation for the other instruments to join in and accentuate the meaning and feelings pouring through the creator’s fingers.

I was moved emotionally by this music, and knowing what it meant to the artist was a springboard for appreciating the impetus for its beginnings and how it flourished from a life-changing event. It was a special moment frozen in time by the music and will now live forever for all who take the time to listen.

Just two short weeks after the release of his first album, Extasis, in 2019, Allan experienced another quantum leap in life: a heart attack. He emerged from his double bypass surgery with a newfound appreciation for music. The intricacies of instrumental collaborations alone gave Allan new meaning in the art of creating music. Since then, his focus has been solely on instrumental music that is not only ambient but also uplifting and positively empowering.

Track Feature: Extasis (Allan Susoeff, Jr) - Heart 639 Hz

https://extasis.music

Extasis (Allan Susoeff, Jr) continues with his series of track releases for the Chakra on “Heart 639 Hz,” a frequency believed to resonate with the heart chakra, promoting love, compassion, and balance.

My first impression was an immediate lifting of any tension, and the endless string of thoughts running through my mind came to a complete stop.

The heart chakra, also known as “Anahata,” is the fourth chakra in the body’s energy system. It’s located in the center of the chest and is associated with love, compassion, and balance.

Finding those three meanings can become hard to see and feel if your mind is cluttered with thoughts that lack direction or purpose, serving neither you nor others. One must be at peace internally to offer another individual love, compassion, and balance. At times, we require assistance in attaining a higher spiritual level of existence.

It is music like this that can be the doorway to another time and space. That space is always there; however, immediately connecting and entering that realm is not always an easy task, given the numerous distractions we can face at any time.

Featuring a unique blend of synths, pads, strings, singing bowls, flute, violin, bar chimes, kick drum, and field recordings of nighttime insects and animals, this track is a symphony of diverse sounds. This combination of tools creates a soundscape that is not just unique but also ideal for meditation and healing.

These track releases are just a glimpse of the full-length recording that is yet to come. Get ready to immerse yourself in a complete musical journey that will take you to new spiritual heights.

Track Feature: The Song Gardners-Spiraling Up

The Song Gardeners continue to release uplifting music with a positive message, and their latest effort, "Spiraling Up," is no exception.

Their energetic and colorful music tells the listener what a proper new-age vocal band should sound like. They are unique in the genre and stand out firmly with their hope and positive energy messages.

Their music is pop and rock flavored with a clear new-age concept and message.

The chorus perfectly encapsulates who and what they are:

We're spiraling up, higher and higher

We're not giving up, we're reaching for the stars

We're spiraling up, brighter and wiser

Filled with compassion and love in our hearts

Uplifting music and a message with clear intent would give anyone pause to reflect and inject some good energy into their consciousness. Their music's rhythms and tempos are infectious and catchy without fail. I always know I will feel good after listening to it!

New Age Instrumental/Vocal Track Feature: Ilka de Gast-Talking to Whales

Ilka de Gast has recorded a special track titled "Talking to Whales." Her deep love and connection to the Pacific Ocean, which stems from living on the coast, brought her to this place where the creatures inhabiting that ocean, specifically the whales, are in complete focus.

Whales are the gentle giants of our waters. Their intelligence cannot be exaggerated, and their importance to ecosystems exceeds what we currently understand about them.

Ilka’s beautiful wordless vocals, combined with the sounds of waves and whales, create a compelling experience for any listener. Her talent is evident and well-suited for this kind of art, as is her heartfelt expression of recording a track to bring attention to these beautiful creatures and their habitat.

Another intrinsic piece of this composition is the native flute provided by Tommy Graven, along with the lovely layers of synths from Tommy and Hank Kalleen. This unique collaboration adds a new dimension to the track, making it a must-listen for any music enthusiast.

The striking cover art, featuring a whale and the light of a spirit behind it, is significant both spiritually and organically. Hearing this piece was a truly special treat, and I was honored to be chosen to present it. The importance of our environment, and all creatures great and small, around the globe, cannot be overstated.

The cover art, also created by Ilka, has a spiritual and organic significance that connects us to the essence of the track and the message it conveys.

Ilka says it all at the end of the track as she whispers, “I Love You.”

Track Feature: The Song Gardeners-Harmony of Contrast

"Harmony of Contrast" is the latest musical seed flowering and blooming to perfection for The Song Gardeners. Their music and positive vibes picks up where the last single track release left off.All of the beautiful lead and backing vocals of Mary Gospe and the backing vocals of Corrie Dunn (piano) give their sound a warm invitation to any listener. David  Scheibner steps in to provide the guitars on this outing.
The words this group provides are always thought provoking and enlightening.

They get their point across with impactful lyrics like:
Wouldn't life be dull and gray, if we all looked the same way?
Wouldn't life be dull and gray, if we all thought the same way?
Wouldn't life be dull and gray, if we all lived the same way?

The message does not get any clearer and more concise than that. And with the truth flowing through the music and words, you end the listen with a new perspective. Where would we be without "Harmony and Contrast?"
