What a beautiful statement to make. It is so true, and the evidence can be found in his music. I realized that rather quickly once I heard his latest track, “Chasing Shadows."
With all the energy, color, emotion, and drama, David creates a literal symphonic masterpiece. The sounds are ethereal and ambiently textured, coming from a place of strength. You can feel it in every note played. I listened once, then again, and felt compelled to listen again, each time discovering new emotional depths.
Everyone has shadows in their lives, and they can take many forms. With music, “Chasing Shadows” could also be interpreted in various ways. It could be the artist, like a great classical composer, chasing the shadows of an eternally recognized concerto, then reaching higher to create yet another. Or perhaps, it’s each instrument ‘chasing’ the next as they travel in a circle of sound, creating a sense of continuity and harmony.
In any case, what you will hear is music that is pure beauty, a soundtrack to whatever you want it to be. Instrumental music, like David Clavijos, allows you to shape the music within your mind’s eye, giving you the power to interpret and connect with it in your unique way.

David Clavijo (Alcalá de Guadaíra, province of Seville, April 14, 1983) is a Spanish composer and guitarist. Since 2010, he has been a leading exponent of New Age, Ambient & Chill Out music in Spain. A producer and composer of his own songs, his music stands out for its use of ethnic elements and the combination of acoustic sounds, atmospheres and voices from other cultures, as well as for the use of synthetic bases and melodies modeled on light themes. His album The Landing (Special Edition) marked a turning point in his musical career, also allowing him to collaborate on a dozen national and international compilation albums, such as the prestigious 30th Anniversary of Café del Mar.
